Who we are

Nordica Product Badges is a Shopify app made by Variegata Nordica (Mallory Berthomé). Questions about this policy or your data: mallory.berthome@gmail.com.

What the app stores

• Your store’s address and Shopify access, so the app can open in your Shopify admin and read your products and theme settings.
• Your plan (Free or Pro) and when it was last checked.
• Messages you send with “Contact support” or “Suggest an improvement”, and the email address if you add one.
• Technical error reports: your store’s address, the page and the error, so problems can be fixed.

Your badge settings are saved inside your own Shopify store (as app data), not on our servers.

What the app reads but never changes

Products, prices, compare-at prices, inventory counts, tags and your published theme’s settings. The app has read-only access: it never changes products, prices or theme files.

Your customers

The app doesn’t collect personal information about your customers. In a shopper’s browser, the badge script reads product information from your store and keeps the result for up to five minutes in that browser tab’s session storage, so pages load faster. It sets no cookies and uses no tracking or analytics.

Who processes the data

Cloudflare hosts the app and its database. Shopify provides the store data and handles billing. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.

How long it is kept

When you uninstall the app, your sign-in data is deleted at once and your badge settings are removed from your store by Shopify. Everything else linked to your store is deleted when Shopify asks for it to be erased, 48 hours after uninstalling. You can ask for your support messages to be deleted at any time.
